We ushered in the New Year, but kept our commitment to the long-standing CoderDojo kids event this past weekend. Hosted in our Vila do Conde, Portugal headquarters on Saturday January 6th, the event focused on front-end development skill-building. The CoderDojo event was the 30th of these free events aiming to teach kids and teens how to program.

The BindTuning team, including CEO Beatriz Oliveira, has demonstrated a steady commitment to the events held on the first Saturday of each month.
The CoderDojo events are hands-down one of the most rewarding things we do
Teamwork, leadership and technology at CoderDojo event.
Featured on Microsoft’s website back in 2016, the BindTuning events continue to attract young coders who have a passion for technology. A woman-owned, family-friendly business, BindTuning is particularly interested in broader opportunities for young children and teens, especially girls, to gain exposure to technology.
Travel with the CoderDojo kids to the land of unicorns! A world of possibilities and creativity in HTML!
Over 30 kids, age 7 to 17, participated in this 30th BindTuning hosted event. Both HTML and CSS skills were applied as the children focused on learning front-end development skills by creating exciting travel-themed pages. Each child selected a favorite destination and created a page to talk about it, adding pictures and styling the page according to the destination style.
Who had fun at CoderDojo?
